I was told by a little bird that a very handsome baby boy was going to be visiting me here at the studio but I never expected those blue eyes, let alone the sweet little lips. I am so happy I got to meet you and mommy and that I will be seeing you soon again for your Outdoors Family Mini Session coming up in October. Maybe you will be standing up all by yourself then or taking half a step?
Often, I tell families that one of the best ages to photograph a little bunny is around month 6 to 8 because babies still look like babies and they have all the flabs and rolls and cellulite and chub. Even when they are more on the slim side, as the sweet handsome baby boy in these images, they still have all the characteristics of a baby BABY! You can actually see it in his very round eyes, those fleshy lips, the little round feet and then you can see it even more in the curiosity for anything and everything. Magic is everywhere and there is no time to loose. Everything has to be explored, from the white long curtains to the fluffy furry stool and the strange reflection of himself on the window. I know sometimes parents think their babies are so big and grown now, but, as a mother of teenagers, to me, all these little precious balls of energy are still little “babies”.
I have a feeling you are going to be walking so so soon bunny, and mommy and daddy are going to have to rush to the store to purchase all kinds of outlet covers, drawer stoppers and closet locks. A whole new world of possibilities will open up and I know you will be more than ready to explore all of them. So off you go and find things that make noise, shiny plastic cups, colorful feathers, sticky glue, wooden train tracks and cars with very big wheels. Explore them all. Learn from everything you see and touch. The world is full of endless magical wonders…
