My daughter Victoria is 16 years old and over the years, she has learnt from her “abuela”

to make the most amazing yummy meals.  She can make pretty much anything from simple chocolate chip cookies

to her well known Poke Bowls and Sushi platters. This Summer Victoria will be sharing her cooking abilities

with kids ages 8 to 15 here in our beautiful Grand Lakes.

 

The stars of the show will be her amazing “Empanadas de Carne” (Meat Empanadas) made from scratch

followed by the decoration of Summery Flip Flop cookies.

This is a hands on class for up to 12 children with a ratio of a maximum of two children per electric skillet (so it is really hands on).

Children will use plastic knives to cut vegetables, cook the ingredients on the electric skillet and finally the hardest part, learning how to close an empanada three different ways.

While the empanadas are being baked, kids will work on the decoration of the Flip Flop sugar cookies

(This can get a little bit messy especially since food coloring will be involved so please dress the kiddos appropriately)

Finally, we will all gather to enjoy our empanadas and cookie on a lunch or early dinner depending on the day you signed up.

Each child’s family will also be able to access an online gallery with beautiful professional photographs of the event and your child.

Digital images will be full resolution and will have a print release, and most importantly, they will be complimentary.

Sessions are non refundable but they can be transferred to another child between the ages of 8 and 15.
