Often times people ask me what is the difference between a Tiny Toes Baby Outdoor session and a Family session.

Outdoor Family Sessions are for families with children oder than 13 months of age and they focus more

on the whole family instead on mostly one family member (the baby).

A non-refundable session fee of $300 reserves your session and includes:

a 1 to 1 1/2 hour family photography session outdoors during sunset hours,

a pre-session consultation with details on how to prepare for your session and suggestions on what to wear

and an online gallery containing 30 fully edited proof images that you can review from the comfort of your home

or, if you prefer,  a personal appointment at my studio to review your proofs.

Products and digitals are purchased separately.

Frequently Asked Questions:

When is the best time to photograph my family?

Sessions are held during the golden hour (one hour before sunset). Spring and Summer sessions have beautiful shades of green tones with a few flowers while Fall and Winter sessions have the yummiest caramel tones.

 

 

How far in advance should we book our session?

Most families tend to book their sessions mainly from September to November so those months book fast and well in advance, especially for those parents that are only available during weekends. However, if you have flexibility during weekdays, then you can book a month or so in advance.

Where are your outdoor fields?

I use two or three different fields depending on the weather and client preference. I do not photograph in any other fields because I like to know very well the light in my locations (where it comes from at different times, how it moves, etc.). Light in my images is a very important component and part of what makes my work so creamy and light.

Do we have to go back to your studio to view our proof images?

Only if you prefer to do so. Sometimes life is too busy and it is hard to take time off from your routine. To make your experience as comfortable as possible, once your images are fully edited, you will receive an online gallery where you can access your proof images as well as information on pricing and products.

Do you do In-Home Lifestyle sessions?

Yes, and they can actually be quite fun. Due to travel and transportation there is $250 fee associated with in-home sessions. Please contact me if you are considering this type of session to discuss the lighting and space available in your home.

 

Can grandparents or other family members be in the images?

The main focus of the session is for the immediate family but I always think it is nice when grandparents or a visiting family member comes over so that we can capture a couple of images with them.
