What to Wear
The right selection of clothing is equally as important to a successful photography session as the choice of location and lighting conditions. When choosing a wardrobe, be mindful of the following tips:
Well fitting, comfortable clothes are essential. Let your personal style shine through.
I recommend neutral colors in shades of creams, off-white, grays, rose and peach. You can add texture and charm by adding layers of different linens, lace and fabrics, scarves, same shade hats and carefully chosen accessories. For babies and newborn sessions this choice of natural colors works very well. You will find these wardrobe choices naturally blend with my organic, yet elegant style and they complement individuals rather than take over photographs.

Please click on this Pinterest Inspiration Board I created that contains some great ideas and do not be afraid to run anything by me. I often have clients take photos of the clothing choices in their closets or while they are out shopping and texting them to me (281-725-8776). Accessories that add tone and texture look amazing (stacked bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc.). I also prepared a Pinterest board specifically for pregnant moms. Here it is: Maternity Suggestions. Here is another board for babies: Baby Wardrobe Suggestions. For the dads, here is a Pinterest Inspiration Board. I always say: first think about what mom will wear, then the kiddos and then find something for dad that coordinates with the previous choices. It does not have to match exactly but his clothes have to go well with yours.
