I recently photographed this sweet family with a very handsome newborn baby boy and his very cute brother and partner in crime. As most of us, newborn photographers, know, a baby session with siblings is, in most cases, twice as hard. Your are not only adding one more person to the mix, but also siblings are often young toddlers… and we all know how wiggly they can be. I do have to say though that the studio lights up with happiness every time we are done photographing the baby and mom and dad arrives with a bouncy toddler. It takes them around 11 to 14 seconds to go from gently and carefully stepping into the studio, to going quickly to mommy’s lap and give her a hug and finally walking all over the walls and ceiling. I do have sometimes little ones that are quiet and shy but more often than not, they warm up in seconds and go from calm to hurricane mode.
Goodness my job is so good. I have to say I truly love it! Who gets to spend so much time hanging around little ones, playing pillow fights with them and tickling tiny toes?
