Ok little bumble bee… I need to know the secrets to get those soft golden curls, the pouty thick lips and those adorable chubby cheeks! You are absolutely beautiful sweet baby girl and quite flexible as well, by the way. I often tell parents that the best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are around ten days of age. At that age, they are still used to being inside mommy’s belly and so they love to be curled up into a little ball and tucked inside a cozy blanket. But as days go by, they start getting more used to the space around them and they no longer need to be kept tight and small. They now have tons of space around them to enjoy and stretch and this is what they do. This little princess was more than ten days old when she came to the studio but oh, she still liked to be curled up into a little ball and stay there warm and cozy. I wonder if at some point they miss being inside mommy’s belly? Do you think they are just curious about all the lights and movement around them or they are scared with so many noises and distractions? Maybe this is why they love to be held so tight and they feel very comfortable and calm when mommy or daddy holds them. Whatever it is, it is just amazing how life happens. They arrive and there is just so many things to learn and to experience. So many new things that happen every day, one different than the other. Well, little ladybug, you are now here to stay and we are simply thrilled to have you. Thank you mom and dad for brining your precious child to me to capture these sweet and tender memories. I can see the love you have for her in all these images and I know she can as well…
